Dear Members,
If you have one could you please let us have it? What I am talking about is e-mail [addresses], web pages and FAX numbers. Or is FAX old hat now? Then we can show the rest of the Postcard and Waterway people that we have both feet in the 21st century. (I've yet to get one.)
While in London I visited the "Picture Postcard Show 2000" in the Royal Horticultural Halls. As well as lots of postcards for sale, there was a display of cards and the theme this year was transport. The organisers asked David Moore to do a display of canal cards and he made up two boards - one of old cards showing narrow boats working on the canals. The second display board showing the complete set of the Waterways World "Colors on the Cut" cards. They made an impressive display. Well done, David.
