Following the appeal, which we published in the last issue of Gongoozler, the target of £250,000 is now in sight. In addition, it is reported that Royal Mail has recognised the lift in two ways;
1. by agreeing to a new name for the lane leading to the lift - not surprisingly "Lift Lane;"
