1. Avril Lansdell is appealing for anyone who has photographs of the last Cardmeet to send her copies for the Circle's records.
2. Members of the Circle have contributed two illustrations to the IWA Calendar 2002, with Ken Parris* having an illustration of the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation and Roger Butler one of the Birmingham & Fazeley.

Members who visited Tunnel End in the course of Cardmeet (2001) may be interested to know that the Canal was opened (again! - this must be about the fifth time) on 3 September by Prince Charles. He was greeted by a good heavy Marsden drizzle. Despite this, he walked the towpath from the station to Tunnel End, with a lengthy file of retainers, police and public in his wake. Our concern now is the 2002 IWA Rally.
