Mumblings of the Chairman . . .
Dear Members,
What do I say to start this, the last year of the Century? All over the world people like me are picking up their pens and trying to say something funny, witty or clever about the past century. So, do I say "Let's go on and do great things in the next?" No, I don't think so, I'll leave that until the year 2000.
For now, 1999, I will stick to the old fashioned saying of "Happy New Year" to all. And my many, many thanks to all the members who keep the Circle running and that includes YOU, (yes, you!) and YOU and YOU and YOU, and all of you.
