Two members, Tony Longshaw and Douglas Yelland have sent in a new card of the Grand Union Canal. Tony obtained his from the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden for 30p (postage extra) and Douglas from St. James's Park Travel Shop, Unit 12, 55 Broadway, London, SW1H 0BD (Tel: 020 7918 4080) at 40p. The reference number is 90011. The card is published by London Transport to illustrate their Metropolitan Line "A" stock and shows a train of this stock "crossing the Grand Union Canal at Lot Mead Lock, near Rickmansworth." |
