Mystery Card

Our first mystery card is shown opposite and while there is information on the card itself, where it was taken is a mystery.

As part of their celebrations for their Golden Jubilee the I.W.A. held a photographic competition. The winners of this competition would have their pictures featured in the I.W.A. calendars. This photograph - which is described on the back as being a picture from the competition - was on the January page in the 1998 calendar.

Martin Thompson sent me the card for this quarter's issue. He likes to know where the pictures on his cards were
taken, and there is no information on this on the card. Martin tried the I. W. A. but they could not tell him Patricia Morris's address, so he cannot ask her. There is not much to go on, but does any other member have any information on this pair of boats or could suggest where the picture could have been taken and on what occasion?
